THE FRENCH OPEN 2013(PRE-TOURNAMENT PERDICTION)

The question is can he make it?. Rafael Nadal aka Rafa has been away for seven long months due to injury. However, the hiatus since June 2012 doesn't seem to have much of an impact on the “King of Clay”.

He was runner-up in his first tournament of the year (Chile Open) and went on to win the Brazil Open thereafter. In the same month, he defeated his compatriot David Ferrer in Mexico (Abierto Mexicano Telcel). In March 2013, Rafa managed to pull-off another win over Juan Martin Del Porto at Indian Wells on hard court.

It was a wise move to take a break and stay away from the Sony Open in Miami. So, chances are Rafa has a shot of making it to the finals at Roland Garros 2013.

His formidable opponent is of course, world number one Novak Djokovic . So far, the French Open title seems elusive for the Serb, nevertheless his determination and prowess should not be taken lightly. Last year’s finals between them is evidence that Novak is getting closer to the title. Rafa defeated Novak 6-4,6-3,2-6,7-5.
